Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data 1v1 Larp (the “Service”), operated by 1v1larp LTD (Ireland), collects and how it is used. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: email address and a hashed password, or - if you sign in with Google - your Google account ID and email.
- Profile & gameplay: username, tier, points, coins, win/loss and match history.
- Webcam still frames: during a round we capture a few still images from your camera (see §2).
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, and cookies used for your session and for admin security.
- Payment data: when you purchase, payments are processed by a third-party processor; we store the order reference and status, not your card or wallet details.
2. Your camera & how video is handled
Live video between players is peer-to-peer and is not recorded by us. However, during each round a few still frames are captured and:
- sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Google, via the Gemini API) to score the round and to run automated safety/NSFW classification;
- stored by us only when a frame is flagged or a player is reported, as evidence for moderation. These snapshots are kept only as long as needed to handle the report.
By playing, you consent to your captured frames being processed this way.
3. Third parties we share data with
- Google - AI evaluation and moderation of captured frames.
- Payment processor (e.g. OxaPay) - to process purchases.
- Hosting/infrastructure - to run the Service.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, and (for administrators) a device-identification cookie used for security. These are strictly functional.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Moderation snapshots are kept only as long as needed to review the related report. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see §7).
6. Children
The Service is strictly for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; accounts found to belong to minors are deleted.
7. Your rights
Under the EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@1v1larp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are posted here with a new “last updated” date.
